Spicy Buffalo Wings

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and chances are you and your partner will be snowed in. (Not necessarily a bad thing). Light some candles and pre-heat the oven, because we're giving you a recipe we guarantee you and him both with love. This past Super Bowl Weekend my boyfriend made a batch of buffalo wings that were delicious. These will be a perfect appetizer for the dinner you're about to make for your valentine. What guy doesn't love wings? And spicy foods burn calories! Umm...its a win-win for the both of you! Talk about a spicy Valentine's Day...

Ingredients: in case you didn't know by now we at Go! Bespoke don't measure when it comes to cooking. It's all dashes of loveee (insert Beyonce voice). This will be your dry rub first. Let sit for for 20 minutes in a greased pan:
 

Dry Rub:

  • Powdered Cayenne Pepper
  • Onion Powder
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt
  • Fresh Pepper
  • Bacon Salt
  • Chili powder

Buffalo Sauce:

  • 2 Packets of duck sauce
  • Soy sauce
  • Sweet Baby Rays
  • Tabasco
  • Reds Hot Sauce
  • Kerry Gold Butter


Prep:
While the chicken wings are sitting in the rub, pre-heat the oven to 375. Pour the ingredients into a medium sauce pan while the heat is turned to medium. Continue stirring until the sauce comes to a simmer.

Then turn the heat down to low. Next, put the uncovered chicken in the oven and let roast for 15 minutes. Once the chicken has roasted coat the chicken in the sauce. Cover the pan with tinfoil and let the chicken cook for one hour at 350.

Once the wings are done remove the pan and let  sit for 10 minutes while still covered. The steam will allow the chicken to still cook, which will cause the meat to fall off the bone, yum! Serve with Blue Cheese or Ranch and you will have one happy guy!
