Wedding Color Palette: Pantone Colors of 2016, Rose Quartz & Serenity

For the first time, Pantone has chosen two colors for 2016: Rose Quartz and Serenity. At first I thought, "it looks like a baby shower exploded in here" but when I really looked I realized that there is more to them just being pink and blue.

It is a beautiful, airy combination of pastels. The rose is a dusty blush that we have seen become very popular in the last few years and the blue is a very delicate balance of purples and gray.

When using these colors for your wedding palette you can add very different accent colors to push the mood for your event. Add other dusty pastels to go for an ethereal feel or add last years color of the year, Marsala, to go vampy.

Because I am obsessed with Metallics and have been for a time, I went with Rose gold for this moths palette. It adds a glamorous vibe but with a vintage twist. No matter the season, this palette will shine in them all. If your going with this combo, your guests will be delighted and your wedding will be hard to forget.
