For as long as I can remember I have been obsessed with bronzed, summer skin. To me tanned skin epitomizes summer, health, vacations, and thanks to Jackie O, class. However, I was born with pale, English/Irish skin (thanks for the combo mom). I secretly envied my girlfriends who tan in a matter of hours, even my boyfriend makes me jealous. They all look like they went to Capri while I look like I vacationed in Alaska.
I'm a strong believer in working with "what you got" and accepting who you are. But to be honest, when it comes to being tanned that doesn't fly with me. Instead of baking in a tanning bed I use self tanner... and I've mastered the art of it, yes there is an art to self-tanning products.
I've currently been using Sugarbaby Suntanned Sweeties Tinted Self-Tan Cream and I love it! It goes on evenly, dries immediately and the color begins developing right away. Plus, it's enriched with almond oil and shea butter. Umm... hello smooth skin! It gives my complexion a natural glow with out looking orange or fake. It's the perfect product to use if you want to give your skin a little color before your wedding day. I also like that it doesn't rub off on your clothes so no need to worry about it getting on your wedding gown.
Before applying the product remember to shave your legs, exfoliate and let it set in before wearing clothing. I like to apply a pink blush to my cheeks because it creates a natural sun kissed look without appearing too tan.
If you have any questions regarding self tanner, you know who to email.
